Help for pterygiums

Q: Good day, I had bilateral pterygiums removed a year ago and they have grown back rather quickly.  I am trying to find an alternative as I do not want surgery again, is there anything you could suggest?

A: A pterygium is a fleshy tissue that grows in a triangular shape over the cornea (the transparent part or front window of the eyeball). It may grow large enough to interfere with vision. The best remedy for pterygiums is Zincum Met, and Euphrasia (to maximise general eye healing), both 4 to 6 times a day. Expect to continue using the remedy one month for every year you have had the problem to allow for effective healing. I would also suggest that you take a daily supplement of Zinc (eg Zinplex).
